LoveItaly<\/strong> ETS<\/strong> is a non-profit organization, registered in Italy’s Registro del Terzo Settore,\u00a0 dedicated to the preservation and appreciation of Italy\u2019s unique cultural heritage and the world\u2019s greatest living museum. The association is the first of its kind to support conservation projects throughout Italy. The organization has set up mechanisms to accept private funding from across the world through its crowdfunding platform and for donors in the United States through our 501(c)3 organization, American Friends of LoveItaly<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Founded in 2014 by L<\/a>Venture Group, a public holding participating in digital start-up businesses, and a group of enthusiasts from diverse professional backgrounds passionate about Italy\u2019s cultural heritage and the conservation of Italy\u2019s outstanding artistic treasures, the initial inspiration came from the archaeological and conservation consultancy work of Richard Hodges, President of LoveItaly, President Emeritus of the American University of Rome, an Executive Committee Member of the Herculaneum Conservation Project and Counsel to the Packard Humanities Institute.<\/p>\n

LoveItaly operates in collaboration with Italy’s ministries, superintendents for monuments, fine arts and museums, local and national authorities, church leaders and higher institutions of learning, including international universities and academies.<\/p>\n

LoveItaly coordinates the various players involved in restoration projects, such as the above-mentioned institutions, experts, donors, patrons, specialized operators, fund raising and public relations professionals and all people passionate about Italy.<\/p>\n

LoveItaly is consistently and thoroughly focused on the importance of communications in furtherance of transparency, recognition, sharing and civic partnership.<\/p>\n
